Rachel began our session with a group drawing task to demonstrate knowledge of a specific process we use daily. What began as a quiet task, ended in laughter that we still talk about today. Not only did it relax the atmosphere, it allowed everyone to open up and contribute through out the workshop. I was surprised at how quickly Rachel was able to create this environment, being our first session.

Coaching Resources for Mindset + Performance

Creating resources, infographics and visual strategies is part of my facilitation process, to drive connection with the content. I have mastered  consolidating large amounts of information into visual graphics that are easy to understand and implement. The feedback I receive almost always mentions the graphics created during my time with an individual or team. These resources are purpose built to accelerate the learning process for individuals and groups I work with, based on my 20+ years teaching.

Performance & Character Strengths
Character strengths and behaviour profiling are KEY when you are working with teams. In order to harness cognitive diversity and develop cohesive teams, there must be a deep level of rapport and understanding of each individual.

Sustainable performance and success comes from having a group of individuals who feel connected, communicate effectively and accurately predict the behaviour of others. Understanding the character strengths of yourself is vital as a coach, particularly when faced with uncertainty and difficult challenges.

OUR BRAIN SHIFTS INTO REPTILIAN BRAIN MODE WHEN A POTENTIAL RISK OR THREAT IS DETECTED + IT VARIES BETWEEN PEOPLE
When working with an individual or team, most people only look at what they can see until there is a level of trust and connection established OR maturity in their thinking. I use learning tools to accelerate the learning process, like the iceberg metaphor, to expedite awareness + understanding around thinking and behaviour patterns that are sitting underneath the surface which are not seen. The facilitation process to expedite understanding of crucial elements of performance including change management, cohesion, communication styles, problem solving, energy and flow...

Part of the training I facilitate is expanding the individuals to understand how their mind and body within different climates, including stress and pressure to perform.

Equipping individuals and teams with the tools and strategies to access in moments that are challenging, is the most effective preparation strategy you can provide a team who are seeking sustainable results and performance

WORKING WITH TEAMS

The Whole Brain Thinking Framework is an empowering tool that reinforces expansive thinking for the individual and team. Each of us have a dominant zone (colour) that we rely on (unconsciously) for our decision making and actions under pressure. The workshop sessions are designed to sharpen our thinking skillset and problem solving skills to maximise success at the implementation level under stress and varying conditions.

Programs must be aligned with the outcomes that the team or organisation is seeking. This means that no program is going to be the same. I design a 'program compass' that maps a pathway and has the flexibility to adjust where we need as we navigate the journey. I am trained in a wide variety of psychology and behavioural tools however only implement the most effective based on the outcomes that are set and the gaps that arise. I almost always introduce the 'law of duality' that is used to develop the understanding of concepts of equal and opposite forces: up/down, win/lose, high/low, attack/defence, strong/weak, happy/sad etc...
This forms part of the training around understanding flow/energy, and designing strategies to alter the state of flow/energy, particularly in game or strategic planning, and it works incredibly well with the "Strategic Looping Tool".

WHEN WE IDENTIFY PATTERNS + UNDERSTAND THE LOOPING STRATEGY OUR BRAIN USES THAT DISRUPTS PERFORMANCE... WE DISCOVER THE 'CODE' TO RE-WIRE OUR THINKING
Pain v Pleasure Rachel Mac (1).png
This is one of my most popular tools that I use to teach unconscious thinking + the cause of unexplained performance/behaviour. After this session, clients will experience a perspective shift and learn how to effectively disrupt looping that is impeding performance. Highly adaptable across many different areas of sport, business, leadership and education. You can see that I have adapted it in this example for a sporting context to demonstrate parallel training + thought loops.

My facilitation covers 6 learning styles which is at least 90% of the population, including those who are neurodiverse. This means that at a minimum, 9 out of 10 people will find the experience enjoyable, consistently engaged and clarity of the content.

This increases (i) memory retention, and (ii) accuracy in implementation.

Clients are surprised at the level of enjoyment and learning retention they experience in my sessions, which comes from my 20+ years of teaching and facilitation combined with my expertise in neurodiversity and creative delivery techniques.

If you aren't sure if I am the right person to help you achieve your desired outcomes, lets lock in a 30 minute session and explore if we are a good fit or not. If I can't help you, I know I will be able to at least put in you contact

with people who can help you.
